Blind mice have sight restored
Scientists have discovered how to cure blindness in mice. The stem cells in mice could be applied to treat human blindness caused by retinal degeneration in the future.
Researchers created stem cells from adult mice, which then grew into small patches of light-sensitive retina that were transplanted into the eyes of blind mice, partially restoring their sight.
